What the AI is allowed to do

The model handles language. It's kept away from anything where a wrong guess costs money.

It proposes; you confirm

Every write is a card you confirm or edit. There's no automatic mode and no way to turn the gate off.

It never supplies an amount

Every rupee comes from what you said or your document. Totals and tax are computed in code.

It explains itself

Each card shows how it read you, and every write records its evidence and a confidence score.

It never files on its own

The business app prepares and exports; it doesn't file. In the CA workspace, only the CA's Confirm & File sends a return.

How the books protect themselves

Balance is a database rule

Debit equals credit is enforced by the database. An unbalanced entry can't be written.

Corrections are reversals

A mistake is reversed and re-posted, so the original and the fix both stay visible.

Every write is audited

Who created an entry, when, and from which sentence or bill. Scanned images are logged by size only.

Each business and each practice is isolated

Every business has its own database schema, and every CA practice is fenced by row-level security.

Standing reconciliation

Consistency checks run against live books and fail loudly.

Serials and returns follow the rules

Cancelled invoices keep their number and returns raise credit notes.

What happens to your data

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can know, export and erase your data. The app gives you all three.

Login without passwords

A one-time code to your phone. Sessions are short-lived.

Encrypted where it matters

TLS on every connection, and stored credentials and GST-portal sessions encrypted in the database.

Payments through Cashfree

AawazAI never sees or stores your card or UPI details.

Voice goes to a speech provider

Voice notes are transcribed by Sarvam AI. The privacy policy names every processor.

Export or delete, from Settings

Download everything, or delete your account and data, from inside the app.

No ads, no selling data

Certification

We don't yet hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001. Our controls can be reviewed under a mutual NDA.

Backups

Nightly backups with fourteen days of retention. Point-in-time recovery isn't in place yet.

Reporting a vulnerability

Write to admin@aawazai.com. We reply within two working days and don't pursue good-faith researchers.

Subprocessors

The current list of processors and what each handles is provided on request and updated with notice.
