Careers

Own a whole problem, not a ticket.

A small, remote-friendly team building the system of record for how Indian businesses describe their trade. The work is unusually concrete: someone says a sentence, and the books have to be right.

What it's like here

The product has a property that makes engineering here different from most AI work: it can be wrong in ways that cost a real business real money and real penalties, and a CA or an auditor may ask about it years later. That constraint shapes everything. We write things down, we make the system explain itself, and we don't ship a clever thing we can't defend.

The team is deliberately small and the surface area is large, so people own whole problems rather than tickets: the posting engine, the GST computation, bill extraction, or the language stack for one of the five modes.

We hire for judgement over credentials, and we read work samples more carefully than degrees.

Who we look for

  • Backend engineers comfortable with Python, PostgreSQL and correctness under load
  • Engineers who have shipped speech, vision or language models against messy real-world input
  • Practising accountants who want to decide what "correct" means before code is written
  • People who can onboard a business owner in their own language and carry what they learn back into the product

We don't keep a list of open titles on this page. Tell us what you'd want to own.

How we hire

Four steps, usually inside two weeks. We tell you where you stand at each one.

A short written exchange

You tell us what you've built and why you made the choices you made.

A conversation about your work

Forty-five minutes on something you actually built, in enough depth that we both learn something.

A paid work sample

A real problem from our backlog, scoped to a few hours, paid at your rate.
